Dear UCU members,
As you know, management has decided to impose the draconian deduction of 100 per cent of salary for partial performance on those, who participate in the MAB. No trade union can simply accept this. In response, we informed management yesterday that we will be on all-out strike from 1 June until 31 July or any earlier date the dispute has been resolved.
This additional action ensures that no colleague participating in the MAB is forced to come to work and work for free. At the same time, we fully understand if those colleagues, who do not have any assessment duties and cannot therefore participate in the MAB, choose to carry on working as normal and pay into the Solidarity Fund instead.
