The University of Nottingham is complicit in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. The student group Nottingham Camp for the Liberation of Palestine (NCLP) has done impressive and extensive research on the University’s collaboration with arms manufacturers and Israeli institutions. NCLP have dedicated their report to Dr Said Al-Zebda and Ikram Ghanem, alumni of the University of Nottingham who were killed, along with their children, by Israel on New Years Eve 2023. The updated version is dedicated to Sara Yahya Shehab who reached out to the University of Nottingham to safely continue her studies in English and Translation, but was killed by Israel before her dream could be made true.
