Show your support for the Anti-Casualisation campaign and the Living Wage at Council

Tuesday 2nd February  at 1pm

Together with our sister unions Unite and Unison, five student societies, and Nottingham Citizens, we are currently engaged in an Anti-casualisation/Living Wage campaign to improve the conditions of staff whose employment is precarious or leaves them in positions of hardship. This includes teaching and/or research staff on casual contracts, as well as the lowest paid staff members on campus, including cleaners, caterers, ground staff. The document below will be presented to Council in advance of its meeting on Tuesday, 2 February. In order to support this campaign, we will distributing leaflets and explaining our demands from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Trent courtyard.

In addition to receiving the document, Council Members know that members of the campaign will be on hand that afternoon. If you are able to come along to show your support for this cause that would be much appreciated.
